Can free accounts use watermarking?

Free accounts get a text watermark using credits (1 credit per file). Logo and name watermarks need a logo on file, which is a Pro or Squad feature. Pro and Squad include 50 watermarks a month before any credits are used.

Does the recipient get the watermarked file or the original?

They see the watermarked preview. If you pair it with a payment gate, the clean original is delivered automatically once they pay. Without a gate, you decide what's released.

Will the watermark wreck the quality of my video?

No. The preview is rendered at full quality and high-resolution video keeps its detail. Buyers receive the original, un-watermarked file on payment.

Can the watermark be cropped out?

Use the tiled style and it covers the whole frame, so cropping it out means cropping out the content too. A single corner logo is cleaner-looking but easier to crop, so pick based on how much you trust the recipient.

What file types can I watermark?

Images and video. There's a 2 GiB size cap per file on watermarking, which covers the vast majority of proofs and previews.
