Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the FileFlippers™ platform at fileflippers.com ("Platform"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. General Principles

FileFlippers™ is designed for the lawful transfer, enhancement, and conversion of files. We expect all users to use the Platform responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

2. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, store, share, or transfer Content that:

2.1. Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any material that exploits, sexualises, or endangers minors. We have a zero-tolerance policy. We use automated CSAM hash-matching at our content-delivery layer and act on any match, report, or law-enforcement notice: access is blocked, evidence is preserved, your Account is terminated without notice, and the matter is reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

2.2. Promotes or incites terrorism, violence, or hatred against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

2.3. Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojans, worms, or any other malicious or destructive code.

2.4. Infringes the intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent, trade secrets) of any third party.

2.5. Contains personal data of third parties shared without their consent, including doxxing, revenge pornography, or non-consensual intimate imagery (prohibited under Section 33 of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 and the Online Safety Act 2023).

2.6. Facilitates or promotes illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, weapons dealing, money laundering, or fraud.

2.7. Contains phishing content or material designed to deceive others into revealing personal information or credentials.

2.8. Constitutes spam or unsolicited bulk communications.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

3.1. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other users' Accounts, or our infrastructure.

3.2. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written authorisation.

3.3. Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Platform (including DDoS attacks or resource abuse).

3.4. Use automated tools (bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Platform without our prior written consent.

3.5. Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures, access controls, rate limits, or usage restrictions.

3.6. Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Platform or Services.

3.7. Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.

3.8. Use the Platform to facilitate the violation of any applicable law or regulation.

4. Storage & Bandwidth Limits

4.1. Each plan has defined storage and transfer limits. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restriction of Services.

4.2. We reserve the right to implement rate limiting and bandwidth throttling to ensure fair use across all users.

4.3. Artificially inflating storage or bandwidth usage (e.g. storing data unrelated to file transfer) is prohibited.

5. Enforcement

5.1. We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or disable access to Content that violates this AUP.
• Suspend or terminate Accounts that violate this AUP.
• Report illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities.
• Cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

5.2. We aim to provide notice before taking action, except where:

• We are legally prohibited from doing so.
• The violation involves CSAM, terrorism content, or imminent harm.
• Notice would compromise an investigation or create risk of harm.

5.3. If you believe your Account has been suspended or your Content removed in error, contact support@fileflippers.com.

If you encounter Content or conduct that violates this AUP, please report it to:
