What's the biggest file I can send?

Do I need an account to send a large file?

You need a free account to send up to 5 GB. Signing up takes a few seconds and unlocks resumable uploads, longer link expiry, and download notifications.

Will my file get compressed or downscaled?

No. We upload the original bytes and serve them back exactly as you sent them. No quality loss, no format changes unless you ask for a conversion.

What happens if my upload gets interrupted?

It resumes. The upload saves its progress as it goes, so a dropped connection or a closed tab means you carry on from the last completed chunk, not the start.

How long does the download link stay live?

You choose. Options run from a 15-minute self-destruct up to 7 days on free, 30 days on Pro, and 60 days on Squad. After that the file is deleted.
